  Join us on Friday, April 4th for our Annual Golf Tournament at Gleannloch Pines Golf Club!

  Since 1963, we have provided scholarships to Houston Sooners going north of the Red River. With the success of fundraising projects like our golf tournament, we have been able to increase both the number and value of scholarships. Please help continue this long history of sending Houston students to THE University of Oklahoma!

  Are you ready to make a difference while connecting with nature and your community? Join us on Saturday, April 5, 2025 to garden atThe Commons in Hermann Park Conservatory —an opportunity to roll up your sleeves, dig in the dirt, and leave a lasting impact at an iconic Houston park with your fellow OU alumni! 

  • When: Saturday, April 5th at 9am - 12pm
    
  • Where: Meet at Wortham Pavilion @ 6001 Fannin Street, Houston, TX 77030
    
  • What to Expect: They will have us support with weeding, mulching, tending to the garden, or raking leaves depending on the need that weekend. 
  • Family Friend: Our volunteer coordinator is a former teacher and is excellent with getting kids involved in the fun, and using this as a learning opportunity! Plus being at a park, allows for them to have some fun while we volunteer!
  • What to Wear: Closed toed shoes and long pants! Clothing could get dirty or muddy depending on the activity.
  • What We'll Provide: Water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent
  • What the Park Will Provide: All the tools we need to help them in the gardens.
